What is coaching?

 

Coaching is a powerful tool for anyone looking to set meaningful goals and make real progress towards them. Often in life, we know what we could be doing, whether it's a lifestyle change, a career aspiration or a shift in mindset, but for some reason, we just can't seem to take that first step, or keep moving forward consistently. Why is that? It’s not because we lack willpower or knowledge. It’s because it’s hard.  We're wired to stick with what's familiar even if it's not working for us.

 

Which is where coaching comes in. Coaching is not therapy and it's not about telling you what you should do. Instead, it’s about helping you figure out what you want to do, achieve, or change, in a supportive and non-judgmental space.  It’s a structured support designed to help you move from where you are to where you want to be.

 

 

Your Coach

The role of a coach is to listen, ask the right questions, and help you tap into your own inner resources; those strengths, skills, and abilities that are already within you just waiting to be tapped.  If you sign up to coaching with us your coach will be me, Beth Kennedy, Certified Coach (accredited by the Association for Coaching and the International Coaching Federation) and Founder of Women Move Mountains.  I’m passionate about supporting women in both their personal and professional journeys and I bring a unique perspective shaped by my 15 years of leadership experience in the charity and social enterprise sectors combined with my own  journey of recovery and the lessons I learn through my love of adventure and time in the mountains. 

 

My Approach

You may know have a specific goal that you want to work towards or you may have a sense that something needs to shift and want clarity around what exactly that is.  But whatever it is, I can support you to take the steps towards achieving it. Coaching isn't advice and I’ll never tell you what to do, but I can be your critical friend and accountable partner, asking the challenging questions that help you break through any limiting beliefs or fixed thinking. My aim is to help you define your goals, uncover the barriers that may be in your way and explore the strategies to overcome them. I’ll be there to offer constructive feedback, a fresh perspective, and the support you need to move forward.

What next?

If you're interested in coaching, simply book a free, 20 minute exploratory call with me. During this call, we’ll discuss what you're looking for. If you choose to continue, we can schedule regular one-hour sessions, usually every 3-4 weeks, or based on your preference and availability, or you can book one of our coaching journeys. Whatever you choose, we schedule sessions to work for you.​​​

3 month Change Programme

Building on the 4 week Kickstarter the Change Programme follows up with 2 monthly sessions, allowing us to build momentum, tackle deeper challenges and create lasting change in the way you approach your goals..

  • Work through mindset blocks

  • Navigate fear, self-doubt, or inconsistency

6 month Transformation Journey

This is a deep, structured coaching programme designed to create lasting change in your life. It builds on the foundation of the 4-week Kickstarter, starting with intensive weekly sessions to get clarity on your goals and build momentum. After that, monthly sessions help you embed new habits, navigate challenges, and continue making progress toward your personal and/or professional aspirations. This journey is for women ready to commit to sustained growth, combining coaching, movement, and adventure to transform not just what you do, but how you approach life.

Ongoing Sessions

Following on from either the 4-week kickstart or 3 month coaching jounrey, ongoing sessions are the perfect ongoing investment in your life, providing you with space to explore, experiment and embed long-term change. 

 

Whether you're working through big transitions or want ongoing support as you navigate life and work, ongoing sessions provide time and space for deep reflection, accountability and transformation at your own pace.

We will decide frequency of sessions together based on your needs.
